The importance of Surah Yunus is given under the narration of Imam Jafar as Sadiq (AS). He narrates that the person who recites Surah Yunus one in two or three months will be placed along Muqabreen (the close ones) on the Day of Judgement. Yunus Ayat 81-82 فَلَمَّاۤ اَلۡقَوۡا قَالَ مُوۡسٰى مَا جِئۡتُمۡ بِهِۙ السِّحۡرُ‌ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَيُبۡطِلُهٗ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُصۡلِحُ عَمَلَ الۡمُفۡسِدِيۡنَ Surah Yunus Ayat 81 Benefits Protection from magic: Reciting and seeking Allah's protection through this verse is believed to act as a spiritual shield against the effects of magic or sorcery.
